Everywhere is Sacred

The Lesson:

The conditioning of our pasts would have us believe falsely that we need to wait for external conditions to be magnificent in order to feel magnificent. We have the amazing ability to manipulate our inner states at will, in an instant. And what I am experiencing on the inside will completely govern how I experience the world on the outside.

The Practice:

Visualize yourself somewhere spectacular, whether you have actually been there or not. Do it in detail. Notice the emotions that accompany that imagery and capture them. Acknowledge that you have just created some high-grade states out of nothing but a thought. Create these states at will throughout your day and notice how it immediately and profoundly alters the way you interpret your reality.

Mantras:

Create the state – don’t wait!

The Outer World is a Reflection of The Inner World.

Many years ago I took a trip to Cabo that turned into an unexpected journey of rapid, deep personal transformation.

This post is one of sixteen excerpts of a piece of writing that I did, that was inspired by this magical experience.

Each “chapter” contains a lesson that can be categorized as a lesson in Mental Toughness, personal development, or spiritual growth.

These chapters have been organized into three segments: the Lesson theory, a Practice, and relevant Mantras to help you in your own journey.
