The Lesson:
Not all anguish needs analyzing!
Sometimes all we need to do in order to transcend the doldrums is to simply stop giving it attention. Ans YES! It is as simple as that. And possibly the most effective way to shift that attention is to get involved in some act of compassion for someone else.
The Practice:
For this to ever work, you must first remember that that the pain isn’t necessarily out of your control. Only then can you even attempt to manipulate it.
Once you have taken ownership of that, then you must remind yourself to get up, dress up and show up! Get out. You don’t even need a plan. The only plan is to go interface with the world with the singular intent to go serve someone beautifully fro a place of pure compassion. It never fails.
Mantras:
Compassion transcends pain.
Many years ago I took a trip to Cabo that turned into an unexpected journey of rapid, deep personal transformation.
This post is one of sixteen excerpts of a piece of writing that I did, that was inspired by this magical experience.
Each “chapter” contains a lesson that can be categorized as a lesson in Mental Toughness, personal development, or spiritual growth.
These chapters have been organized into three segments: the Lesson theory, a Practice, and relevant Mantras to help you in your own journey.

I love it. Just get over yourself, get out there and help someone else. So simple yet some people cannot grasp it.
Thank you for all the emails! Hope all is well!
It’s been a long, long time since we talked!
