Lifers: An Interview on Mental Toughness Training with the Paolinis

When they started their 1st round of Mental Toughness Training sessions, Brielle was 12 and Brinson was 9 years old. That was 13 years ago. And they haven’t taken a day off in the interim. Meet the Paolinis. To describe this sister/brother duo as powerful or impressive or even as three standard deviations above the norm in every measurable category feels like a miserably weak understatement. Brielle is currently in her third year in Wake Forest’s MD/PhD Program in Neuroscience (click here for her bio). She graduated Summa Cum Laude from William and Mary – the athlete with the […]

Charlie Sheen is a Mirror

Last week my Miraculous Life email Bulletin elicited some pretty strong reactions. And that wasn’t my intention. I don’t post things for shock value or to simply stir the pot. Everything I ever write and submit publically is done so with the intention of somehow raising the bar on how we, as a collective, view the world. Charlie Sheen’s recent public presence and persona is, on many levels, disturbing. If he was my friend, I’d be legitimately concerned about him and I would be reaching out to him – not simply writing about him. Many of his behaviors seem clearly indicative of […]

HOT STEAMY SEX!!!

Is there something "wrong" with the fact that we generally prioritize sex and money over everything else? Absolutely not. Although our learned shame might have us believe otherwise. But each of us is an expression of Divine Grace in human form, so how could there ever be anything wrong with our truths?

TBOLITNFL and ALL-INness

Miracles are happening in my life right now. Each of these miracles was born from a decision that Arizona Cardinals Offensive Lineman, Duece Lutui, made on September 7th, 2010. The power of being in a state of ALL-INness is immeasurable. If you like miracles, and if you like creating them for yourself, then watch these two videos. In them, I tell the story of what’s been transpiring since the first miracle that happened at 9 pm on Wednesday October 27, 2010.

It’s done! As I say in the video above, the reason there’s not been a blog post in the last 3 months is that I’ve been consuming myself with this creation – the most valuable creation I’ve made to date. It took a lot of time and work, in part because it’s all new to me and have never done it before, so there was new technology to learn – BUT, it took this long primarily because I […]

Tiger Woods’ Lesson for Us All

I was amazed at how quickly people went to the effort of creating Photoshoped images and posting condescending YouTube videos about Tiger Woods and the drama he created. Tiger has given us an infinitely convenient opportunity to practice something here that it simply not useful - aligning through negativity. More specifically, his story has given us the opportunity to pretend that we , ourselves, are beyond transgression.

How to Develop A Disciplined Mind: Three Steps to Toughness

It takes a disciplined mind to be able to return to the creative state - the state of mind that is necessary to create the life of your dreams. And we must return to it again and again, as we experience the challenges that life brings. In fact, the disciplined mind is not only less vulnerable to such challenges, the disciplined mind is enthusiastic about them. To the disciplined mind, life would be boring without the downs that give meaning to the ups.

The COURAGE to believe!

Without Clarity on how it is that one wishes to most profoundly use their life, they certainly cannot create the dream. But that clarity is not enough. In order to manifest the life of your dreams, you must also establish the Courage to reprogram some extremely powerful conditioned beliefs that tell you you can't have what you want, or be who you want, or follow your passion and still thrive.
